Erbi on my lap about 2008.
He's very affectionate.

In 2014 we had our upstairs bathroom remodeled.  The general contractor who did most of the work became so attached to Erbi that he brought in his camera and took some pictures of him.  This was the best.
Erbi and Lolli are very fond of one another and often nap together in the afternoons (when they aren't licking one another).
Here are Erbi and Dick, enjoying sunset on our lanai in Florida as well as each other's company.  Dick and Erbi are bonded to each other!  By the way, did you notice Lolli?  She's sitting atop her condo watching and waiting...!
Erbi (2003-2019) is, or was, our fourth cat.  He came to us when a pet-sitter told us of a cat who had been an "outside cat" but wanted to be an "inside-cat".  Ginnie decided to go and see what the pet-sitter was talking about and came home with him.  He was so lovable that he immediately became our newest cat.  Lovable, friendly, affectionate; he was the perfect cat.  We brought him into our home around 1998 and he remained a fixture until December of 2019 when he succumbed to kidney failure.  He was generally my cat (me, Dick) for reasons only cats know.  Most of out cats have been Ginnie's cats; Erbi was different, he was my cat and I treasured that status.  I was rendered almost speechless when, after having tended to him for eleven years, he died in December of 2019.  I miss him to this day and always will.
